Hidden behind a bookcase door in the heart of our bustling city bar, the Knight & Garter Dining Room is a warm and atmospheric space built around great food and generous hospitality.
Our menu brings together modern gastropub cooking with a Mediterranean influence, celebrating quality ingredients without overcomplicating them. Locally reared meats are at the heart of what we do, sourced through our long-standing partnership with Owen Taylor Butchers and trusted local farmers, alongside fresh seafood, pasta and seasonal dishes.
Everything is lovingly prepared by our talented kitchen brigade, with a focus on great produce, generous flavours and dishes you genuinely want to eat.
At the weekend, things become a little more indulgent, with beautifully prepared brunch dishes and our Sunday roasts — generous plates of carefully sourced meats, proper roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings.
